Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

By the midday brightness 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 Your Lord will soon grant you sufficient favors to please you. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 And do not rebuke the beggar. 10 But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
