Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the midday brightness 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before. 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 Did He not find thee erring, and guide thee? 7 And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness, 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
