Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Have We not caused thy bosom to dilate, 1 and lifted from thee the burden 2 Which had left you devoid of hope, 3 And raised high your fame? 4 For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. 5 indeed, hardship is followed by ease! 6 Hence, when thou art freed [from distress,] remain steadfast, 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
