Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

۞ Have We not opened your breast for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him))? 1 and relieve you of the burden 2 Which pressed heavily upon your back, 3 And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? 4 Surely with hardship there is ease. 5 With hardship indeed there is ease. 6 Then when thou becometh relieved, toil; 7 And to your Lord direct [your] longing. 8
