Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up thy heart, 1 And We removed from you your burden 2 Which pressed heavily upon your back, 3 And [have We not] raised thee high in dignity? 4 So indeed with hardship is ease. 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So when you finish the prayer, strive in supplication. 7 and turn to your Lord with longing. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
