Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

۞ (Muhammad), have We not comforted your heart, 1 relieved you of the burden 2 The which did gall thy back?- 3 And did We not exalt your fame? 4 So truly with hardship comes ease, 5 surely, with every hardship there is ease. 6 So, when you are free, strive hard, 7 And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
