Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up your breast 1 And We have taken off from thee thy burthen, 2 that had weighed so heavily on thy back? 3 And We have upraised for thee thy renown. 4 Surely with hardship there is ease. 5 indeed, hardship is followed by ease! 6 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, 7 And make your Lord your exclusive object. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
