Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Have We not opened forth for thee thy breast? 1 and lifted from thee the burden 2 Which had left you devoid of hope, 3 And raised high for you your repute. 4 Indeed, there is ease with hardship. 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So, when you have finished (your prayer), labor (in supplication), 7 And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
