The Fig (Al-Teen)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By oath of the fig and of the olive, 1 by Mount Sinai 2 And this city made secure, 3 We indeed created Man in the fairest stature 4 and thereafter We reduce him to the lowest of low 5 Save those who believe and do good works, and theirs is a reward unfailing. 6 Then what (or who) causes you (O disbelievers) to deny the Recompense (i.e. Day of Resurrection)? 7 Is not God the greatest of the judges? 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
