The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Read: In the name of thy Lord Who createth, 1 Has created man from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood). 2 Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful,- 3 Who teacheth by the pen, 4 Taught man what he did not know. 5 No! [But] indeed, man transgresses 6 As he considers himself independent! 7 Verily unto thy Lord is the return. 8 Have you seen the one who forbids 9 a servant of Ours from prayer? 10 Hast thou considered whether he is on the right way, 11 Or enjoins Righteousness? 12 Have you seen if he denies and turns away - 13 Does he not know that Allah sees everything? 14 By no means! If he desist not We shall seize and deal him by the forelock 15 by the lying forelock steeped in sin. 16 So let him now call his gang! 17 We, will call the Zabania (the harsh angels of Hell). 18 By no means! Obey not thou him. Continue to adore, and continue to draw nigh. ۩ 19
