Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Divorce (Al-Talaaq) before Exodus (Al-Hashr)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Those who disbelieved be they from the People of the Book or from those who associated others with Allah in His Divinity will not desist from unbelief until the Clear Proof should come to them; 1 A Messenger (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) from Allah, reciting (the Quran) purified pages [purified from Al-Batil (falsehood, etc.)]. 2 Wherein are discourses eternal. 3 Nor did the People of the Book(s) get divided until after the clear proof came to them. 4 And they are ordered naught else than to serve Allah, keeping religion pure for Him, as men by nature upright, and to establish worship and to pay the poor-due. That is true religion. 5 Surely those who disbelieve from among the followers of the Book and the polytheists shall be in the fire of hell, abiding therein; they are the worst of men. 6 But those that believe and work righteous deeds, they are the best of creatures. 7 Their recompense lies with their Lord: Gardens of eternity beneath which rivers flow; therein they shall dwell, forever and ever. Allah is well-pleased with them, and they are well-pleased with Him. All this is for him who fears his Lord. 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
