Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

When Earth is shaken with her (final) earthquake 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 That Day it will declare its information (about all what happened over it of good or evil). 4 Because your Lord has inspired it. 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
