The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

WHEN THE WORLD is shaken up by its cataclysm, 1 And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 That Day, it will report its news 4 Because your Lord had inspired her. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
