Say: 'I am only a warner. There is not any god but God, the One, the Omnipotent, 65 Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving." 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 from which you turn away. 68 (Tell them): “I had no knowledge of the High Council when they were disputing. 69 I am told (about matters) by means of revelation only because I am a clear warner.” 70 (Remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Truly, I am going to create man from clay". 71 and when I give it proper shape and blow My spirit into it, bow down in prostration to him," 72 So all the angels prostrated themselves 73 Except Iblis. He was filled with pride and turned an unbeliever. 74 [Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?" 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 Allah said: get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art driven away. 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 Satan said: “My Lord, then grant me respite till the Day that they are raised up.” 79 Answered He: "Verily, so [be it:] thou shalt be among those who are granted respite 80 for an appointed time". 81 He said, "By Your Honour, I will lead all of them astray, 82 Other than the chosen ones among Your creatures." 83 Allah said: the truth is, and it is the truth that I speak 84 That I shall fill hell with thee and with such of them as follow thee, together. 85 Say: "I do not ask any compensation of you for it, nor am I a specious pretender. 86 Lo! it is naught else than a reminder for all peoples 87 And most certainly you will come to know about it after a time. 88
