The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 And man will say: "What is the matter with it?" 3 On that Day it shall proclaim its news, 4 For your Lord will have commanded it. 5 On that Day mankind will proceed in bands, that they may be shewn their works. 6 Whosoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8
