The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 And the earth brings forth her burdens, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 On that day she shall tell her news, 4 Because your Lord has inspired it. 5 That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds. 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 and he who shall have done an atom's weight of evil, shall behold it. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
