The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - 3 On that day she shall tell her news, 4 having been inspired by your Lord. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 Whosoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 and whoever has done an atom's weight of evil, will also see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
