The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 So, whoever does an atom's weight of good shall see it; 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
