The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its (final) earthquake. 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 On that Day mankind will proceed in bands, that they may be shewn their works. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8
