Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
