The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the snorting courses, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 And raiding at dawn 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
