Al-Aadeyaat

The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the snorting courses, 1 and produce sparks 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
