The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
