The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
