Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
