The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
