The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
