The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
