The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
