The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
