The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 Would that you knew what the Clatterer is! 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose measure of good deeds is heavy, 6 shall find himself in a happy state of life; 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 (It is) a hot blazing Fire! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
