The Striking Calamity - 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 A Day on which human beings would be like so many scattered moths, 4 And the mountains shall become as wool carded, 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 but he whose deeds weigh light in the Balance 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11
