The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The Calamity! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 A Day on which human beings would be like so many scattered moths, 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 It is a burning Fire. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
