The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 On that Day people shall become like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 And what do you know what that is? 10 A blazing Fire! 11
