The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

The terrible calamity! 1 What is the crash? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 And the mountains shall be as loosened wool. 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 He is therefore in the desired bliss. 7 And as for him whose measure of good deeds is light, 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 And what can make you know what that is? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11
