Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you 1 Until ye come to the graves. 2 Nay, you will soon come to know; 3 Again, no indeed, you shall soon know. 4 Nay, would that ye knew (now) with a sure knowledge! 5 You will be shown hell 6 Then ye shall surely behold with the surety of vision. 7 and on that Day you will most surely be called to account for [what you did with] the boon of life! 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
