Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

YOU ARE OBSESSED by greed for more and more 1 till you reached the grave. 2 You shall know. 3 You shall cetainly know (about the consequences of your deeds). 4 Yes certainly, if you had believed with certainty, you would not have craved for wealth. 5 For ye will behold hell-fire. 6 You would see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then on that Day you shall be questioned about your worldly favours. 8

Almighty Allah's Truth.
