Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you 1 till you reached the grave. 2 Lo! presently ye shall know. 3 nay, again, you shall soon come to know. 4 Nay, if you could but understand [it] with an understanding [born] of certainty, 5 You will surely end up seeing Hell; 6 Again, indeed you will see it with certainty. 7 Then on that day you will surely be asked about the verity of pleasures. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
