The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe unto every backbiter, slanderer, 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 Does he think that his wealth will prolong his stay on earth forever? 3 Nay! Verily, he will be thrown into the crushing Fire. 4 and what shall teach thee what is the Crusher; 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 Which rises above the hearts. 7 It will engulf them. 8 in columns outstretched. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
