The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every fault-finding backbiter; 1 [Woe unto him who amasses wealth and counts it a safeguard, 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 Nay, he shall be thrown into the Crusher. 4 and what shall teach thee what is the Crusher; 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 which will rise over the [guilty] hearts: 7 Verily, it shall be closed in on them, 8 In outstretched columns. 9

Almighty Allah's Truth.
