The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every fault-finding back-biter, 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever. 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 What shall let you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is the Fire kindled by Allah, 6 Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men). 7 covered down upon them, 8 In outstretched columns. 9
