The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 who amasses wealth and counts it over and again. 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever! 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 and what shall teach thee what is the Crusher; 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 Reaching right into the hearts of men, 7 It will engulf them. 8 in endless columns! 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
