Al-Hummazah

The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Ruin is for every open slanderer, backbiter. 1 [Woe unto him who amasses wealth and counts it a safeguard, 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 On the contrary! He shall be flung to the Crusher. 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 Which rises above the hearts. 7 Verily it shall close upon them, 8 in its long columns of flames. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
