The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Woe to every slanderer, defamer, 1 who has gathered riches and counted them over 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the Crushing Fire. 4 And what shall make thee know that which the Crushing Fire is? 5 The Fire of God kindled 6 Which will climb on to the hearts. 7 covered down upon them, 8 In extended columns. 9

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
