The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 who has gathered riches and counted them over 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever! 3 Nay! he shall most certainly be hurled into the crushing disaster, 4 And what have you understood what the Crushing One is! 5 It is a Fire kindled by God. 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 Verily it shall close upon them, 8 in towering columns. 9
God the Almighty always says the truth.
