The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Ruin is for every open slanderer, backbiter. 1 who amasses wealth and counts it, 2 thinking his riches have made him immortal! 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the crushing torment. 4 What shall let you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is a Fire kindled by God. 6 which shall oversee the hearts, 7 closed around them 8 in extended columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
