Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 Woe, then, to those who pray, 4 but whose hearts are not in their prayer. 5 Those who make a display (of their deeds). 6 and refuse to help the needy. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
