Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 It is he who pusheth away the orphan, 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 As are of their prayer careless. 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
