Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? 1 It is he who turns down the orphans 2 and never encourages the feeding of the destitute. 3 Woe, then, to those who pray, 4 Who are heedless of their prayer; 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
