Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Have you considered him who calls the judgment a lie? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the needy. 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 and are heedless of their prayers, 5 Those who make show [of their deeds] 6 And withhold [simple] assistance. 7
